Rental Jewellery
We offer flexible rental periods to suit your needs. You can rent jewelry for:
- 3 days – Perfect for a weekend event
- 6 days – Ideal for a wedding or extended trip
- 9 days – Extra time for multiple occasions
Your rental period begins the day your order is picked up from our store. Returns must be dropped off by the end of your rental period to avoid late fees.
Yes, we require a refundable security deposit for each rental. The deposit amount varies based on the total retail value of the pieces you select.
How It Works:
- The deposit is charged on your credit card at checkout and refunded upon return unless the rented item(s) is damaged, returned later than agreed return date, or lost.
- Once the jewelry is returned in its original condition, the deposit will be refunded.
- If there are any issues, we will notify you before processing any charges.
This ensures a smooth rental experience while protecting our luxury collection.
You can rent multiple pieces at a time, whether you’re selecting individual items or bundling pieces together.
To ensure availability for all customers, we may place a limit on the total retail value of jewelry rented per order. If you’re looking to rent a high-value selection, our team may require additional verification.

Simply email us at info@teresaandsons.com, and our team will provide you with all the details on how to purchase the jewelry you love. We’ll even apply a portion of your rental fee as a credit toward the purchase!
- Drop-Off: Return it in person at our Montreal store location.
- Return Deadline: Make sure to return the jewelry by the end of your rental period to avoid late fees.
- Once we receive the jewelry back in its original condition, we’ll process the return and release your security deposit.
Your rental period starts the day you picked up your order from our store in Montreal. The rental period ends on the final day of your selected rental duration, and the jewelry must be dropped off in-store by that date to avoid late fees.
In-Store Pickup – If you pick up on Friday for a 6-day rental, you must return it by the following Wednesday.
While the jewelry is in your possession, you are fully responsible for its care, including loss or theft.
If the jewelry is lost or stolen during your rental period, you will be required to pay the full retail value of the piece. For this reason, we highly recommend keeping the jewelry in a secure location when not in use and ensuring it is properly handled.

If you receive the jewelry and notice any damage, please contact us immediately at info@teresaandsons.com with photos of the issue.
We take detailed photos of all pieces before they are picked up to ensure quality and condition. If necessary, we will assess the situation and arrange for a replacement or provide a solution to ensure you have the best experience.
To avoid being held responsible for pre-existing damage, we recommend inspecting your jewelry as soon as it's picked up.
Currently, Teresa & Sons does not offer insurance for lost or damaged jewelry. While normal wear is expected, you will be responsible for any significant damage, loss, or theft during your rental period.
If you're concerned about coverage, we recommend checking with your credit card provider or personal insurance, as some policies may offer protection for rented items.

Since all rentals are reserved for specific dates, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges once the piece has been shipped or picked up. However, we’ll do our best to assist you in finding a solution!

Ready-to-wear pieces are pre-designed and available for immediate or short-term delivery. Bespoke jewelry is entirely custom-made, beginning with a personalized consultation and followed by a tailored design and hand fabrication process.
Yes. We offer personalized consultations—either in person at our Montreal showroom or virtually—to guide you through every step of selecting or designing your engagement ring.
Custom Design & Bespoke Services
We begin with a design consultation to understand your vision, followed by sketches or digital renderings. Once the design is approved, your piece is meticulously handcrafted in our in-house atelier.
The process typically takes 6–8 weeks, depending on design complexity and stone availability.

Yes. Our pieces are available in 14K and 18K yellow, white, and rose gold, with platinum available upon request.
Orders & Shipping
Yes. We ship worldwide with insured, trackable delivery. Shipping fees and delivery times may vary by location.
Ready-to-ship items typically dispatch within 3–5 business days. Made-to-order and custom pieces are completed and shipped within 4–8 weeks.
Yes. Clients in the Montreal area may opt for complimentary in-store pickup at our showroom.
We accept returns and exchanges on unworn, non-custom pieces within 14 days of receipt. Bespoke, custom, or engraved pieces are final sale.
Repairs & Resizing
Yes. We provide professional repair services for Teresa & Sons jewelry, including prong tightening, chain repair, polishing, and more.
In most cases, yes. We assess each piece individually to ensure structural integrity before proceeding with resizing.
Repairs and resizing are typically completed within 1–2 weeks, depending on the service required.
Jewelry Care
We recommend storing your pieces individually in soft pouches, avoiding exposure to harsh chemicals, and removing jewelry during physical activity.

Many of our designs are suitable for daily wear. However, we recommend removing jewelry when swimming, exercising, or engaging in heavy manual tasks.
